Dr. R S Subramanian is a Cardiologist in Erode, currently attached to Bharathi Heart Hospital at Soorampatty, where he has been since 2007.

Prior to his current assignment, Dr. Subramanian worked for a year as a Consultant at Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH), Erode. Earlier, from 1997-99, he was an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine at Sri Ramachandra Medical College in Chennai.

Dr. Subramanian holds an MBBS degree from Coimbatore Medical College CBE (1994), and an MD Medicine postgraduate degree from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai (1997). From 2002-2005 he studied and trained at Madurai Medical College and obtained the post-doctoral DM Cardiology superspeciality degree. He also cleared the DNB (Cardiology) examination. In addition to this impressive roster of qualifications, Dr. Subramanian completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology (FIC) at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, in 2005-2006.
